Starry night

Once in a while....

a LONELY quilt top
finds a new home.

This one needed to GROW to be full size.

It was a challenge finding JUST the right fabrics
to compliment the center quilt.

Thankfully....
I found some fabrics that I'm really happy with.
I opted for SIMPLE border strips.

Hey!
I EVEN attempted Mitered corners on that last border
and did an O.K. job of it!!!

Next up...
I'll have to figure out how I'm going to quilt this big one!
Wish me LUCK!

  2. Great choice of fabrics for the borders. Its quite a busy quilt so I'll be interested to see how you quilt it.

  3. You found just the right border fabrics- this looks great. And the miterered corners with the stripe lined up nicely adds a real nice touch. Lovely!
